So I am going to look for another service provider. I needed my sim card activated last week, R600 airtime spent calling and EVERY consultant has a different story. Each one said a supervisor would call me back, have been waiting since Friday and nothing. Not a call, no Internet, not even an FU. Have had my sim card since Friday and I need to work. Offered no compensation or viable explanation (my husband was a database administrator in telecommunications for years, I worked on the front end so most of what was said has a distict smell of bull**** to it.) You wanted a ref? Here: *** Fat lot of good it will do. Because apparently it can take another day, week or month before my sim activates... Because nobody knows or cares. OR Were you actually offline for a week? THAT means your database service provider (no one could tell me if you are Oracle based or other) sucks. Doesn't bode well for clients or you as a company. OR was it a failed upgrade on the system last Friday? If so, why was it not automatically rolled back to a previous version? Why was the client even affected at all? Your down time should not have even been noticed by a client... Or was it just a glitch on the system and someone has to manually push my sim swop through? Or was it one of the other excuses?
