**** with canceling sim card

My girlfriend tried to activate her rain sim card over the weekend. Rain merly took the money out of her account before her having to send in the qualifying documentation.

Rain did not accept the verified proof of residence and would not activate her sim as a result. She did not have any other proof of residence but could not cancel the account as the sim was not activated but the money was already out her account.

When she got a qualifying proof of residence. The card did not work with her mifi router even we called to confirm that the card will work with the router earlier this year.

And when she tried to cancel within the first week rain did not give her a refund as stated in their terms and conditions. They only informed her that once canceled the card can not be reactivated and that they will be taking a Second payment on the first of next month

We tried to call the company and requested sales call. But no one has reached out since saterdag and it is now Wednesday. This is unacceptable unprofessional and against the consumer protection act.
