Rain's strikec New Signups with hidden uncommunicated fees

I signed up for new service on the 15th and paid the prorata fee it was activated on the 18th when I received the router. To my shock and surprise I just discovered that there hidden signup fees that Leila fails to explain. The first invoice has double the amount instead of R649 I signed up for I am charged for the 1st to the 17 though I had not received the modem by then August. They say I have to pay for the whole month even though I did not know 13 days before I would decide to sign up. In simple terms the hidden fees are for new innocent clients who do not know that even if you are charged a prorata you will still pay for the days you were not on the platform just to pay to help the billing department ***** more money from you. I requested the invoice that reflects the services I signed up for. They failed to do so. I asked for the hidden fees breakdown they refuse to break them down as it will expose their malicious activities.

I lost the sim card 3 years ago and I have paid the R525 fee that was owing unless the amount was double charged or inflated to get more from me than initially charged. It still doesnt make sense. It still goes back to hidden fee that I suspect and you just proved me I was right all along. So the R555 is for cancelling the lost card or the service I couldnt access for past 3 years I am a bit confused.

To set the record strait on the lost sim card The charges are for? the service I could not access for more than 3 years.
you saying you are charging me R1000 plus?
1. for no access to the Rain infrastructure
2. for cancelling for upgrading to a better service instead of applying for a lost sim replacement.
3. for taking advice from rain to upgrade and cancel the non existent service?

No there was no option a customer can select to cancel the lost card. The only option was to pay the R525 either in promise to pay in terms or once off. After Paying there was no option to cancel only to request a replacement card simcard. I then asked for advice what to do I was then told that I could either request another simcard and the type of service I previously had with the lost sim was no longer available. I could take an upgrade instead which had more functions and I was directed to the offer I signed up then I paid for the service. Then I cancelled the non existent sim service I was told It will be cancelled later as Rain still wanted to process the non existing sim card. I am starting to regret taking advice from rain as the very same company seems it has double standards or hidden agendas. I am struggling to understand how does a new signup gets punished down for taking advise from the very same company there is so much injustice happening here.

It is clearly obvious it is a win win for the Rain billing depart more cash flow at all costs Yeeepy!! and sadly a loose loose situation for customers hands down and for a new signup and upgrades its even worst.
