RAIN - WORST SERVICE EVER

I don't usually do this, but, I want other people to not to make the same mistake I did. Rain data sim cards are an absolute ****. I ordered my sim card on 7 June and received it almost 2 months later. I then opened the box containing my router to see that it had been opened. I then tried connecting to the internet, which inevitably didn't work and after sitting on the phone with their technical people for an hour still no one got back to me. I was asked to send them a picture and maybe someone would get back to me. Thankfully, it was quicker to petition my neighborhood to get fibre installed, and physically have it installed then to get Rain, so, I'll never have to deal with these people again and its just R1,000 down the drain. They don't respond to complaints so this post is purely to advise consumers to not support them. Please, please do not support poor service providers, consumers shouldn't have to lose their money unnecessarily and deal with such bad service. We are better than this any by supporting them we are simply condoning a downward trend in South African service delivery. DO NOT SUPPORT RAIN it is not worth the time, effort or money.
