rain Wi-Fi service

I have been promised for this to be sorted out a week now. Let's see what really happens now

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. i have spoken to about 4 technicians and they all have confirmed that the tower closest to me is up and functioning now you tell me there are issues with Tower. Your stories don't match up

thanks for the feedback but as i mentioned to you i have spoken to numerous Rain technicians and they all have told me that there is nothing wrong with the Tower but yet now you tell me there is. Is this in-fact the truth or just to buy more time and me as a client needs to just be ok with you telling me you cant tell me when it will be restored. so until then i just need to settle with unusable Wi-Fi but keep paying for service I'm not getting

your second last message says you have restored Tower in Military road and your last message says technicians are working on fault on Tower. So is it resolved or is it faulty?
I will reboot my router once i get home and lets hope all is resolved now

image.png 716.32 KBAccording to current map view it still shows not connected to Tower 0.89km but still further tower 2.33km away from my router location. But i will check again once i have rebooted my router if it then connects to correct closer Tower.

Rain I am getting tired off all the stories now. I have done everything u have asked me to do and I have just logged in and now I am connected to the Tower even further away from my house. I am now connected to another tower on Beach front.
I have two directional Antennas on my roof pointing straight towards the Tower that I can see in Military Road as it's only like 8oo meters away from me. So I have not once had this problem since I have had and been living at 2 different locations and suburbs in past few years and the reason I put up external Antennas was to ensure full bars and best connection as I am now using external Antennas to ensure I have line of sight and not having to move my router as I have the best location and position for my router.
So I would love to hear why now this morning I am again connected to completely different Tower again even further away!

I also have a ups for my router and therefore do not loose power to my router at all during loadshedding so don't tell me when loadshedding happens my router reboots and then find connection to A Tower . Bull!

When will the problem be resolved? The problem is currently I have paid for a service that I'm not receiving. So until Rain oneday decides to fix the problem I will just need to settle for very poor wifi connection. This is poor service delivery Rain. Day 7 today it' unacceptable

Today is day 10 and still not resolved. When can i expect Tower to be restored and my connection to be repaired to the Closest Tower?

Day 13 and still having issues and Tower still under maintenance. How much longer will this go on?

Rain how soon is soon. 14 days today!!!!

The credit will be past you right but in the mean time I have to settle for unreliable connectivity on all my devices and users in my household. Your turn-around time is unacceptable and this is very poor customer service especially with client that has been with Rain for long time now and always on time regarding payments

Rain don't come with this nonsense of other towers and stuff. We have been through this over and over. I need to be on Tower 0.83 meters from my house as i always am and i have even gone as far as installing two external directional antennas pointing directly to tower so signal is not the issue here the issue is when you for some reason redirect me to other towers when for only RAIN would no. Put me back on Tower close to me please. Last month you had to loose money and only bill me for days i actually had connection to tower are we going to have this battle where if it goes on like this u going to be giving me free unreliable network?

Rain there needs to be explanations for this . This can not keep happening. I work during the day and can't reboot everytime you ask me to. This can only happen after work hours when I'm home

Then this should be seen to as you can not expect your customers to continue paying for poor connection and service. I ensure I have backup system to keep my router on during loadshedding and so should Rain networks
