Rain Unauthorised Debit Order

I cancelled my Rain subscription in July 2021. Since from them they have not been deducting anything. On the 23rd of December 2022, I woke up to a debit order of R479. I contacted rain and they told me that it was for July 2021. I asked them why are they only deducting over a year later, and they could not respond to that. I requested a copy of the said invoice for July 2021, and till today they have not sent anything.

This is not the way to conduct business. I cancelled my contract but they go ahead to debit my account with something I haven’t been using for over a year.

That has put a strain on my finances. My debit orders bounced because of that. Rain must reverse and give me back my money before I take legal action against them.

All I want is for my money to be returned.

I don’t recommend anyone to use Rain.
