Rain , the network where you have NO CONTROL

When I signed up with Rain I made an upfront payment to activate the sim card. They choose to bill the consumer for one month and then when you want to cancel their services they tell you you will still need to pay the upcoming debit order because you are billed in arrears and they gave you one month credit . How is that my problem . I didn't ask for one month credit . And they only tell you this when you want to cancel. No where in the terms and conditions does it state that you are actually being billed in arrears. In April we didn't have connectivity for a whole week and now when I want to cancel they are saying that I am liable to still pay the debit order because I am being billed in arrears. They should be upfront with that on their website as well as in their terms and conditions.

We're really sorry your rain experience hasn't been as good as you expected.

We're going to get on this asap.

Thank you,

Ok so why is this information not on the terms and conditions? And also when you are searching for ways to cancel, it says there isnt a cancellation fee. But this seems to be a ******* whether or not Rain decides to give the consumer one month credit. Why do you give one month credit that I did not ask for ? If your monthly amount is R699 , how is it that Rain says you pay in arrears for what you use during the month ? Anyway I don't care about any technicalities or loop holes that are now being sent to me , I would like to cancel.
