RAIN the 5G bomb!
To Messrs Paul Harris, Michael Jordaan & Patrice Motsepe! Your offering is a bomb and you should be ashamed of yourselves while still offering a service that has some many problems. Tried to register and purchase a 5G package prior to lockdown. System had a bug that IT were working on - how long is a piece of elastic? Call Center agent couldn't assist as the system drives the process - one of the most fundamental mistakes any business makes. No opportunity to correct by manual intervention. Eventually got thru during the lockdown - bug fixed hip-hip hooray! So we wait for RAM not a problem and I arrives. Definitely not plug-and-play and one spends lost of time moving it around the house as it's on electricity which is a challenge with extension leads. With technology so advanced you would think that it would have a battery for start-up and load shedding but that would take a bit of lateral thinking. So eventually it connects but no Internet access. Eventually instead of a note in the delivery instructions a call centre agents responds with a 24 activation process. Ok so it activates and your frustration is over - NO it isn't! Signal strength inside the house isn't too bad but nowhere close to 200Mbps but we can live with a better speed than Telkom's pathetic service. So 2 days later after reading that ICASA had released more bandwidth it goes on the blink and loses Internet access, still activated mind you. Log a call Friday about 2pm no response, Saturday no response, Sunday no response this from a business that has hours from 8 to 8 Monday to Friday and 8 to 1 on Saturday & Sunday which must have all been public holidays or there are so many problems with their **** service that they cant cope! I look forward to a response and especially why I lost Internet connectivity if I get a response at all. This is not what one would expect from such first class business men given some of the so-called geniuses that they poached from a previous business - maybe they got it wrong if listens to the anecdotal stories.
