Rain support non existent.408

Have been unsuccesfully trying to activate a sim for more than a week now. Sad part is that it is a sim that was working in the phone for two years and just removed when the phone needed a battery replacement. Rain talk will not activate now as I cannot receive the activation code, though APN, SMS and mobile data works but no voice. (receiving or outgoing) Contacting rain by phone, Rain Go or sms elicit the same response " .. we are escalating it to Voice, mobile or network etc.. but nothing now for 6 days.. I have called everyday sometimes 3-4 times a day, given alternative contact info (obviously the rain number is the problem) but still they send emails saying they tried to call on the non working number. The solution is actually simple and has been implemented twice before when this phone wad in for repairs and entails removing to old phone from the active list, generating a 5 digit activation code, have me enter it and we are set but in allmost a week that has been too much of an effort for this company. While I have been using them for over three years with great technical effect the hassle and non service is just not worth lost time and head ache. Good when it works but awfull when any kind of interaction is required. Avoid at all cost if you have alternative options.
