RAIN - Stay AWAY!!!

I have tried to cancel my account with RAIN since the end of March 2020 due to me not having reception even though they said I would have strong signal. The product has never worked for me. Though not ideal, i was happy for them to collect the router and pay me my refund. Needless to say, it has been almost half a year and they continue to ignore my numerous emails and collect my money every month. They do not take phone-calls which makes it basically impossible for clients to resolve any queries. They mention that due to COVID 19, their consultants are very busy etc but this is just not on. I recommend RAIN to absolutely nobody. A telecoms provider who just ignores calls and emails yet takes their debit orders from the client every month should not be allowed to trade in South Africa. My next step is to take the to the Regulator / ICASA. It is shocking how they just ignore my emails without consequence. A person cannot get hold of them. I received feedback once in 5 months and he said that it would be resolved but it has been 2 months since then and they are still taking my R999 every month. It is not acceptable and something must be done here.
