Rain Ripoff Month to month it is actually a contract!!

I subscribed to Rain because they say it is a month-to-month service. It doesn't require you to take out a contract their advertising even states no contracts, you pay and they provide you with a service, you don't pay they suspended their internet. And because it's not a contract you don't get into arrears, they just suspend their internet. I stopped using their services in July to my surprise they were still charging me for a suspended account until now, telling me that my account is arrears. How can my account be in arrears with a month-to-month contract??? with services I never used?? I am not in a contract with them but still, they were charging me while they suspended their services. I contacted them in May telling them I can no longer afford to pay their services and they offered me a discount for four months to my surprise I owe them for a service I did not use. I will not pay for a service that I didn't use nor get. I am going to report this to the ombudsman Rain is a total rip-off!! Than they send me an email stating : Hi Karabo,

We cannot remove an invoice due to no usage .
