RAIN! RAIN! RAIN!

I bought my Rain sim together with a Router from TakeALot and delivery was prompt within 3 working days which i found quite impressive since i am new to online shopping, and working from home. Since i spend too much money on the Vodadom data, i decided to try the Rain network. I must however say that one has to have the patience of a Saint just to get Rica'ed for starters. Then I have opted and paid for the R479- unlimited option but I simply cannot get it connected. My computer recognizes the new router but not the Rain sim. If i insert the sim in my cellphone it also does not pick up the signal although the APN says Rain. I checked the coverage and clearly my area has full coverage. I went back to my Dashboard on the Rain portal and to my amazement if shows Data used 1GB - where on earth did it go if i have not even as yet connected. I called Rain but due to Covid-19 there's no-one manning their phones. Then i sent an email to their customer support and i received an answer back that they do not respond to emails and i was referred back to their portal. I then typed my query on their customer service drop down but when i click on submit at the bottom right, it does nothing so it does not go through to them. I received a message on my phone while the Rain sim was inserted saying i will receive Settings soon - i am still waiting. I wasted 2 days of my time and am still not as yet connected.
