Rain No Service

My loaded card had expired which lead to me falling behind 3 months on my rain account. They cut the internet for the biggest part of 3 months but they still want me to pay for those months. Am i wrong in thinking that i should not pay for a service if there is No Service?

After i explained this, all they said was pay the outstanding amount. Almost like talking to a robot.

So I then said cancel my Rain account. They said they cant because I First neet to pay the months that I did not have internet.
