RAIN MOBILE - unlimited home 5G premium - Pleasantly Surprized

This review is based on my modern experience with the Rain company and more specifically their following product.

I am always happy to be proven wrong about a company and after experiencing speed and connectivity issues during load shedding with other service providers, I found myself testing out Rain's flagship and premium product, to see if the speeds and general service is better then what I experienced, and caused me to write the following review.

Anyhow, I was pleasantly surprized at the improved delivery and setup process that came with the product and I managed to get up and running within 2 days of delivery.

I tested the product and was pleasantly surprized at the speeds I was getting, that reached up to 55gigs download speed at testy hours and 85+gigs at peak times. - And this was with 5+ devices connected to it and streaming.

I had a roommate at the time also connected and we both experienced consistent speeds and generally favorable usage from the device.

The only thing that makes me not rate this a 4/5 star, is due to the notable dips in connectivity that happen when I am gaming and also have occured ramdomly during work hours, as I WFH, streaming tends to be subject to touch and go consistency, again not always, but to a notable degree.

I called in to enquire about it and was given a generic response from the support person, now their lack of proper support service is still a thorn they need to work on, but that being said.

I would recommend RAIN at this point, as they work as a service provider at the point providing a better service then many other similar providers, but again take that with a grain of salt.

I am typing this review as a pleasantly surprized returning customer, who simply wanted to give props where they are due, the service is not perfect, but it is getting better and overall that alone deserves a kudos and round full applause.
