RAIN ISP - The worst in SA!!!

It utterly astounds me that in 2020 a ISP like RAIN SA provides sub standard services, network speeds and has no social media presence to avoid negative comments about how bad they are. I've put my brand new 4G wifi router in every part of my house and yard to attempt to get something close to a workable network speed and I failed.... It peaks at about 48kb/s which is just a joke. I cannot work, cannot open web pages and this is not service RAIN should be proud of. Currently on the 4G uncapped off peak package and have not had a workable network speed since it arrived, bar maybe 5 minutes in the mornings. Utterly annoyed that other networks are achieving 3mb/s download speeds from exactly the same position as my modem, with an old beaten and battered wifi router, but my brand new rain enabled system can't even reach 50kb/s consistently, let alone anything higher.... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RAIN EVEN IF THEY WERE THE LAST ISP ON EARTH< STAY AWAY.

I have logged tickets with their support, no phone number just online tickets making it impossible to get your issue sorted. No one has come back with an answer let alone a solution. How can a business operate like this?

Assist with?

Attempting to sell me a different package? It is clearly a network issue and needs to be resolved on your end. Alternatively you need to COMPLETELY stop marketing your products as your service is poor and uninterested in solving the problem and more interested in saving face in front of other potential customers. Solve the issue, fix the POOR (basically useless) network speeds in the Uvongo, Margate (KZN) area. I am 1km away from a tower and can't get any network speeds while Telkom network users in the same area are getting more than 60 times the speeds I am....

So far no one has made contact from Rain to attempt to assist or even just to explain why the network is so terrible. I took my dogs for a walk this morning, put the sim in my 4G enabled phone and went all along the beach, no obstructions, no buildings....AND STILL could net get above 50KB/s... The lack of service and clear deception in their marketing is really just disgusting. With no social media presence from Rain it also makes it very difficult to hold them accountable for their bad (non existent) service. But we are expected to continue paying and receive nothing in return...
