Rain is not a company I would recommend
In 2020 I was asked by my manager to contact Rain and apply for the 5G router, which I did. I submitted the company details and they insisted on a cell number as a contact, so I had to give mine. I left the company shortly after. In recent months I have been receiving call & today a sms. The caller requests if they must cancel the contract as it was no longer in use. Each time I tell the caller that I have long since left the company & dont have the authority to cancel anything & as they have the company details, to contact them & gave them the persons name. They clearly have not done so & I have now listed the sms as spam & blocked the numbers. Rain should reassess what info they insist on be cause common sense dictates that there are staff turnovers at companys & the persons contact details that they insist on is likely to change.

On 12Jul22 I mailed Michelle & told her that I was been contacted by Rain & she responded on 13Jul22 saying Rain is correct that they no longer use the router & said that I must cancel. I was working for MTD and was instructed to get the router which I did & at the time they were located in Princess Business Park Roodepoort but according to the internet they have moved to Factoria Industrial Estate Krugersdorp. I left MTD 9Jun20. Contact Michelle & she will be able to sort out the whereabouts regarding the router.

17 Sept 2022, 14:35Rain records will show that MTD paid for the router and other payments and all other details are that of MTD. I was strictly following instructions when ordering the router. Rain must change their contact info or at least insist of contact details of example a Director. Michelle is married to the owner Quintin.

19 Sept 2022, 06:01Obviously I dont have login details to any Rain profile as I was strictly a representative working at MTD and they would have been given any info when I left. Michelle would have made payments using whatever method after I left the company.

After all the previous HelloPeter communications which include the actual contact details of the responsible person and who in fact they contacted and communicated with, last week received a call from CCD Couriers to collect the 5G router which they harassed me for last year. I would truly never consider referring Rain.

It is clear that there is a serious break in communication between Rain & CCD & definitely no records are being updated. Based on the negative CCD reviews on Hello Peter, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
