Rain is actually a contract. IT'S A ****!!!

The only reason we went for rain was because they say it is a month to month service. It doesn't require you to take out a contract infact their advertising even states no contracts. What we took that to mean was, you pay and they provide you with a service, you don't pay they suspended their internet. And because it's not a contract you don't get into arreas, they just simply suspended their internet.

I stopped using rain 2 years ago and this morning I got a call from lawyers informing me that I have been handed over to them because I am in arrears.

Why? The call center agent told me that because I didn't call to cancel the "contract" they were still billing me for the active account even though they have suspended my service.

So I have just found out that rain is actually a contract and they are lying to consumers.

I will be escalating this to the ombudsman for false advertising and for being billed for a service I didn't recieve.

Be careful people rain is a ****, it is a contract and not month to month as they claim.
