Rain internet services are non-existent.#131

Rain is advertising to supply internet services. I approached them via their website in November 2023 because my present supplier could not be contacted to attend to my problem but I was unsuccessful. I contacted Rain by telephone and they agreed to supply me with a router. But first I had to supply my credit card number which I did. A box with the router arrived by courier a few days later. No instructions was included an I attempted several times to contact them by telephone requesting help. They did not answer and I then sent them an email which they acknowledged receipt and let me know that help is on its way to me and an agent will contact me. Nothing happened. I then decided on 15 November 2023 to cancel their services as the previous service provider succeeded to solve their problems. Rain again acknowledged receipt of my email of 15 November and rep**** that an agent will contact me. Nobody from Rain contacted me. However the debited my credit card with more than R2000 for services which to this day is non-existent. Absa bank refuses to write back amounts which was debited and also said that would not be able to refuse future debits, I then put a hold on all transactions with my credit card and will cancel it if any further debits would be claimed. In conclusion, I received no service from rain but they continue to claim payment, .
