Rain Internet Service Provider Bad Support

I started using this ISP 2 weeks ago. On the first day, the service was excellent. I managed to get download speeds that ranged between 6MB/s to 10MB/s. From the second day, the figures dropped to around 1MB/s and I notified them. They promised to look into it and within two hours it was working fine, with download speeds varying between 9 and 14 MB/s. Two days after that, the download speed started hovering around 0.01MB/s. When I notified them, I was told that there is increased traffic in my area and they cannot do anything about that. When I followed up about the probability of having traffic in my area for 24 hours a day as my download speed is always less than 0.1MB/s, the response was that I can either use the network in its current form or look for another ISP. That was the response that I got from Mr David Tsoke, the CeC on the 16/08/2021 at 11h39. The network is still at 0.01MB/s and they are not willing to assist me any further. Has anyone ever experienced this situation and how did they resolve it?

Good day,
I am using the Huawei 4G pocket router.

The signal indicator reading is -16dBm which is indicated as excellent. I also agree because I can see full strength on my devices, both notebook and cellphone.

Kind regards,

Sibusiso Mabena

Rain attempted to attend to my situation after I have posted on this platform. Unfortunately, the situation has not improved. It has gone from bad to worse. The uncapped internet does not mean anything when the download and upload speeds are at best 0.5MB/s. Like I said previously, my signal strength is -10dBm, which is considered to be excellent. I cannot possibly accept that the traffic in my area reduces the functionality of the network to almost zero. From the looks of things, I do not have a reliable ISP in Rain and I'm not so sure how long can I keep complaining before I change to a different ISP, as per Mr. David Tsoke's suggestion.

Out of interest, is that the company policy or culture where customers are advised to look for other service providers? I see that's a bit different from the days when I was taught about the importance of customer retention and the need to keep customers as the cost of recruiting new customers was much higher.
