Rain Internet Service Provider

I am staying 270m from one of the towers Rain is using for coverage, however my signal strength througout the day keep on jumping between 500kbs to 0mbs. There is no constant signal strength. This is almost the not even the speed of EDGE. Rain is supposed to run on 4G. There are no helpdesk telephone numbers and all issues have to be done via email of which there is no to little response. They are quick to deduct money but do not have any support system in place. How can Rain keep on advertising everywhere but offer no support and their signal strenght is by far the worst I have ever experienced. How can anyone pay for a service they are not getting.

Hi Fattima.

I received the following mail, see date and time. We are now at Monday 3 August 2020 and still no feedback nor has my complaint been resolved. How can it take almost 5 hours for 1gb to download. I have been using my MTN sim in the same device at exactly the same address, 270m from the tower and never had I to wait for 5 hours to download 1gb. Do Rain have any network team or technicians based in Kimberley to resolve this issue as all the other service providers do have this in place. I also do understand that Covid 19 have a major influence on bussinesses but this issue of Rain was experienced by other ex rain customers before the whole Covid 19 thing. If you cannot provide proper service delivery and any customer support, why keep on advertising your product if there is no support.
