Rain Internet Provider- Worst

With Rain (the data company) I had the most unprofessional and horrible experience. I signed up with Rain. Paid R 76.77 on 17 August 2024. This amount was pro rata until the 25th. I received my Rain router only on the 23rd August. My router did not work for the whole weekend since that Friday. I had to phone regarding this. The following week the router has been active after I had to phone the company. However both my sim cards did not work. The 1 only worked in September and the second was only delivered on 27 September.

Rain never deducted the first debit order on 25 August. On 25 September, they deduct double the amount which I did not consent to nor been notified. I phoned the billing department. They just dont care. This is the lack they have on their side. 27 September, two days later, they deduct another premium without consent.

Plus I am not even 2 months in, and I already got an increase up for October.

After this, I went to my bank to dispute these amounts and there was another lady that told me how poor her experience was also. The same happened to my partner.

At the bank I have learnt that Rain is online. You cant reverse the money like a debit order.

I phoned the company again and cancelled my rain. They did not worry to loose a customer.
