Rain internet (no)service provider

So I joined rain internet provider before covid. They've always taken the money from my account. Then as covid hit, I had to manually pay them and couldn't get hold of them to fix the issue. The 2nd month the same issue. So I had no internet coz I didn't pay hoping they'd contact me so we could fix the issue, but nothing.

This year April 2024 I received calls from Easton Berry Incorporated saying I owe rain money and I'll be blacklisted if I don't pay. End of April I paid the amount stipulated by Easton Berry, knowing it's done since that rain Sim card is no longer in use and all my problems have now ended. Guess not. Today I get my first ever mail from rain saying I'm behind with my payment( for no service rendered to me by them mind you).

This is now beyond me. The internet service they provided before covid wasn't great but now they want payment again for not rendering any services to me.

That's not right and I don't feel I should pay for something I never got.
