RAIN Internet, just don't use it

For the last few months my internet has been unstable with horrible download speed and constant disconnections.

Download speed will range between 0.1mbps and 2mbps, while the upload speed is always between 10mbps and 12mbps.

When you try to report it to Rain customer service, they want you to move the router around your house to try and connect to another tower. When they finely realize that the problem is with their tower, they give these stupid answer and newer contact you again: "The tower has to many people connected to it, you can wait for us to upgrade the tower, or you can cancel your service" or: "The elevation of the tower is a problem, please use the link below to cancel your service"

If the tower is so busy, why has it not been upgraded to 5G like the rest of the city? If the elevation of the tower is the problem, why did it work fine a few months ago, did the tower shrink? They would rather want you to cancel, than actually help you.

RAIN does not care about it's customers at all. If you live in the centre of your city, rather go with Fibre options if available. If you live on the outskirts of a city like me, rather go with another more expensive option. RAIN internet is the worst, even Telkom adsl was better than this.
