RAIN handing over an account cancelled over a year ago

I successfully cancelled my RAIN subscription last year (24 Aug 2022) but to my surprise today I received an email stating that i am being handed over to some attorneys! How? Please make it make sense?! No phone call, text or email between Aug 2022 and now, NOTHING. Rain is taking chances i see!
