Rain disappoints time after time

I contacted them on their website and requested a callback. They called me within 10 seconds, impressive. Took my order and requested a pro-rata payment of R492 for February (this was 2/2/24) which I paid immediately and they acknowledged this payment. I also then received numerous emails about couriers and FICA etc etc. On 5 February 2024, they called me to inform me that the color router I ordered was out of stock, so I chose another color, and delivery was promised. After numerous follow-up calls from my side and being repeatedly told the same line "We are very very sorry for the inconvenience, we will escalate the matter" and requests made on their website for them to call me (for which I received acknowledgment emails), I had to cancel the order and now wait for a refund.

Repeated excuses, no solutions, this was the worst customer experience I had in years. Quick to take an order and payment, useless on delivering on promises.
