Rain continues to charge while access is restricted and in arrears
Rain restricted my service when I was 2 months in arrears and continued to charge me despite the Sim not accessing any internet. I would be happy to pay off the 2 months I was in arrears but they're charging me for 5 months in total. Three of which I wasn't even able to get online. I have sent several enquiry tickets to their Support asking why they continue to charge me despite no service to no response. They say you get one within 24 hours, it's been 4 days and I've sent 3 tickets. I feel cheated by Rain and they don't allow you to cancel when you're in arrears, meaning they're happy to keep charging you whether you ask them to stop or not, and stop the service (which they're charging you for monthly). I understand restricting a little access but to stop the entire service and to continue charging for 3 months extra (services ceased in June) feels malicious. I don't want to pay for a service I couldn't use and would prefer to settle. I have only recently got my life back together after a terrible financial time, but there wasn't an option to cancel or stop the charges, only to pay them, regardless of the fact I couldn't even get into the app itself to see this using the sim card. I should have listened to my friends when they warned me about how Rain works. In order to stop them charging me I have to pay for internet they didn't even let me use. Honestly, I'm beyond disappointed as I was hoping to now continue to use the service and need access to the internet but have a hefty bill to pay off first for a service I couldn't use for most of that time. Big regrets here, not going to lie
