Rain can't provide Internet, or service.

My internet hasn't been working for 2 days. This happens every few days. When I log a support request, the system tells me that I already have an open support query and that I need to wait 24 hours. Good luck phoning them, they won't answer, or if they do, they'll put you on hold for 24 hours. Try phoning the sales department, they answer immediately. But they'll just transfer you to the technical department who will tell you to switch your router off and on again. If you would like to constantly struggle to get your internet working, Rain is perfect for you.

That's one of standard replies I get, but it is not sufficient. Can I get an ETA for when the problem will be solved. Also, why do I need to use Hellopeter to communicate with you? Why does your support system on the app not work? Nobody has contacted me?

"Unfortunately, we do not have an ETR for the tower to be restored but our technicians are waiting to be granted access to the tower to do the necessary repairs."

So that means they haven't even started with the repairs yet? I haven't been able to get my work done for days, but you guys are still fumbling around, just to get access? Useless!

For anyone looking to get a Rain product, I would strongly recommend that you find another service provider.

Kindly monitor your connection for a few days and revert back should you need any further assistance."

It did work last night for a bit, but it's been off again today. Do the guys have a key to the tower, or are they standing at the gate again, looking at the problem? The service from Rain is so bad, it feels like I'm in a Leon Schuster movie?

My internet was on yesterday, now it's off again? It's no use phoning the support centre, or submitting a support ticket on the app, because nothing happens. To anyone reading this, STAY AWAY FROM RAIN!

Rain was working for 4 days after the last incident, but has been off again today. When I try to log a support issue on the app, it says that I have a pending support query (which is not true) and that I need to wait 24 hours before I can ask for support again. You can't phone them either, because you'll be put on hold indefinitely. The only way I can communicate with them, is through Hellopeter. I strongly recommend any other ISP. Rain won't support you.
