RAIN BAD SERVICE
I wish to inform, that Rain promised that it would be supplying sim cards from thyme bank kiosks at pick n pay & boxer outlets. To date, this has not happened. False advertising!! I confirmed with thyme bank via email, their reply was that they had not received any sim cards for distribution. Also, I wish to report that rains customer service is useless. They never get back to you, they don't reply to your emails & and the personel on the other rain communication platforms are generally very rude!!

The matter about the supply of your sim cards via thyme bank kiosks has been doing the rounds on my broadband platforms, as well as on Meta media. The story is that because rain & thyme bank are part & parcel of rainbows family, rain would be using thyme bank kiosks as outlets for the sim cards. Point 2 your services via email stinks!! When you send a email, you get a automated response, that your email has been noted,and that a customer service response will follow. Only problem is nothing happens! Another issue I have is that you advertise on your own site that I can pick up a sim card at clicks nation wide(more than 200 stores) from the Pargo outlets. The problem is that both clicks stores in my area(empangeni)(Richards Bay) have no clue about this service even though both have Pargo outlets. This issue is unacceptable!! And for your information, there are people *******ly selling your(free) sim cards on the Facebook market place site(check it out). Your official response is welcome on my email.

15 Mar 2022, 17:30Thank you for your reply. Your map marks clicks in empangeni with a blue dot(which I presume it means they have supply of Sims) but this is not the case! But anyway, it was worth a try! I'm left with no options open to myself, due to the backwards nature of this situation, that does not consider empangeni, & Richards bay worth the effort to supply.
And just wish to ask you if it's possible that Mr D service is being used as a front for your sim cards being given to those unknowns to sell on the net as high as R65 rand. And this problem is nation wide. So keeping this in mind!? It shows the need for your company to distribute as is expected or set up kiosks at various shopping centers that work similar to a ATM. Just a thought...
