Rain bad accounts department.

So I got a Rain SIM card when ordering a pizza and decided to use the internet service. I simply supp**** my credit card info and they deducted R475 off my card. I signed no contract nor any debit order approval. In 2022 I moved over to Vodacom for a data contract and logged on to the rain website to cancel my service. This was done and the amount of R499 (now) stopped being deducted off my account. Now in October 2023 I get a call from some Easton Berry attorneys stating that I have been handed over for debt collection. HOW? HOW? I cancelled the service and they stopped deducting the money from my account. How in heavens name can they now 1 year later hand me over. This is beyond a joke. Good luck to them trying.
