Rain

We have a contract with rain for over 3 years, paying every month supposedly towards router and service. The router was ****** due to a home break in. We are now told that we need to pay R4000 to replace the router even though we have already been paying on the contract for a long period of time. Does this mean that if we are paying on this contract for years and the item is 6 years old we still have to pay R4000? This really does not seem fair.

How do we escalate this matter?
