Rain **** Ad no contracts all a ****.

So I took out a Rain Sim card maybe a year ago. The reason why I took it out was because the first thing they advertised is no contracts. Month to month. You do everything over the phone. And obviously the price was good. I called they checked whether there is coverage where I was staying and it worked I paid like R1 for the Sim via takealot. I paid my subscription fee for the month and all was well until I moved to a new address. I paid my monthly subscription. You pay before they activate in other words pay first than watch. Only to find out the Rain cannot work where I moved. I called them non stop to try and help me they even send me a new Sim but nothing work. I than tell the operator listen here this is not working I will have to look for an alternative network service provider. They apologized for being unable to help me. I than went open and took out a 24 month contract with new service provider this was in February 2023.Now in July 2023 I received a text from Rain saying I owe them over R2000. I was shocked to say the least and used some adult language because of my shock and frustration. They selling us the public a no contract deal month to month but it is all a lie. They could not provide me with a service as there was no coverage where I moved. Please people do not be fooled by Rain they lure you under false pretence. Using the words loud and proud no contract quit any time. All lies. Stay away people.
