Rain abandoned me

I am so fed up with rain. been with them for a long time and always defended them when people complaint. nothing is perfect but in the beginning, if I had any network problems, I would report it and someone would always call me and try to assist me and mostly the issues were resolved.

I have Rain 5G on the 100+ package and also Nvidia GeForce Now with rain and I pay them over R1300 every month for these services, however at times for up to two weeks I get only 30mb download and 1.2mb upload. I send in complaints but never hear back from anyone at all. They blatantly ignore me and the bad service and signals I am receiving but greedily gobbles up the monthly fees from my bank account. And why would they care, the area in which I am living has FEW other internet options at all. All my Neighbours are on Rain on my recommendation and is not very happy with me. I pay for GeForce Now every month but can hardly use it as my internet connection is not suitable. Rain has abandoned me and with no other options I must just accept things as they are. Rain has gathered enough clients and made enough profits to stop caring about servicing the customers that helped them get there.

what is even the point, after I posted this, I requested 2 sales calls, and a sim swop. I get emails by the dozen that an agent will contact me, but nothing, I am leaning towards cancelation.

I did get my sim swop, and it was relatively easy, however as from now 15/01/2025 @ 21:19 pm I have sped down my unlimited connection to 60mbps, due to a super weak internet connection. The sad thing is I don't even get 60mbps on 5g unlimited speeds, I am lucky if I get 30mbps. For the last 4 days I have been running on 4G only and get better speeds than I get with 5G, I sincerely hope that you don't have the intention of charging me for 5G unlimited for the past month. You messaged me I am connected to my closest 5G tower, and my connection is stable, but I can assure you it's simply not true, and even if you did check it or test it then maybe for that few minutes you checked it, it was fine, but it is not stable for long. So why don't you get in your car and drive out to my house and come see for yourself how I am billed every month for 5G unlimited and yet can only use 4G. I believe selling me 5g Unlimited but only making 4G usable for me constitutes some kind of *****. I am deeply disappointed, and I feel ****** and cheated. Support is a joke. Another thing, how come you offer new customers new improved routers with advanced Wi-Fi technology and leave existing customers with outdated ****? What is that about? Nobody called me up and said, Hi dude we got better routers now, we are sending one over. When I started with rain, I was happy and service and support was excellent, I even recommended rain to Neighbours and friends and know for a fact of 4 people who switched to rain on my recommendation, and you couldn't care less. Please must I now publicly beg you for some attention and help to resolve my 5G problems so I can once again enjoy my online gaming that the 5G was intended for? Where is your passion, phone me and if I don't answer keep phoning 20 or 30 times till you reach me whatever it takes, bring back that passion you had in earlier days and still had to prove yourself to grow to a profitable company.
