Rain 5G/4G Service

To go 5Gor not 5G??? That was the real decision to make after a disastrous 4G Rain installation over the last 2 months.

When ISP's promote a wireless service it is always a good idea to do a "site survey" with the correct objective of understanding all the technical jargon and knowing that 100% deliverables are not ever attained in an real world. Location of towers physical antenna placement and most of all is there a "line of site" path to the nearest tower? Having purchased a 4G antenna on an LTE/4G Router and finding out that "directional" does not always work in wireless. Being in the game for 20 years this year experience sometimes softens the frustration of poor performance due to less understood principals of wireless propagation. However after dealing with a technician with similar hair pulling experiences it was fascinating to talk at communication levels of mental agreement that all that glitters is not always gold and the proof is in the physical pudding not the metaphorical type.
