RAIN 5G the Champion

Just got connected to RAIN 5G network. What a simple easy experience. Was reluctant at first to sign up because it look to easy and I kept saying to my wife it looks too good to be true. When my local fibre to home provider did not bother to reply to may email I decided to take the plunge. I ordered the RAIN 5G on Friday afternoon quite late, paid by credit card at the same time. Recieved my router on Monday morning at 8:00 am via RAM couriers, fica, rica whatever at the same time. My sim was activated on Monday afternoon and I was informed by sms. Tried to get connected on Monday evening but failed. On Tuesday morning decided to read the short and simple instructions for the first time and this resulted in immediate connection. Speed test indoors was close to 400MBps. The two wifi hotspots provided by the router work well but we prefer the 2.4MHz hot-spot as it is accessible throughout the house. I live in Randjesfontein in the "shadow of the 5G mast' so I was reasonably sure that the RAIN 5G router would work well even indoors...as it does. However I would have gone with the RAIN 5G far sooner if RAIN could have provided a RAIN 5G "facilitator" . I would have been quite willing to pay a small fee R300 to R400 to have someone come out to my place with a router and see if it would perform. If the RAIN router needed to be installed outside then I would also have been prepared to have the 'facilitator' install the router outside and set my home up accordingly for which I would also have been very willing to pay up to R3000.00 for. Young entrepreneurs out there, there is a lucrative business opportunities there for RAIN facilitators..talk to RAIN about this. Such a person would have taken the risk out of me signing up with RAIN....i.e. the last thing I wanted to do is a DIY job setting up my router outside (i'm not tech savy) and then of course needing to set up wifi hotspots inside. Researching RAIN on the internet made me even more nervous of signing up for RAIN. So a "facilitator' would have sorted all my worries out. Fibre to house connection would have cost me close to R3000 installation fee plus close to R1000 per month for 10MBps Uncapped but Semi-shaped data. With RAIN 5G is cost me R0 yes Zero installation fee and R699/month for 30MBps uncapped and un-shaped data. In ending, seldom in life have I got something so fantastic with such simplicity. RAIN 5G you are brilliant, you are a champion. Long may it last.
