Rain 5G basic home review

I wish I could get the option to not select a start at all. I took out a rain package in March 2022, received the router and sim very quickly and the activation process went very quickly. Then I discovered that I don't have internet connectivity. I tried calling, you don't get through to support unless you request a sales call online, they respond quite fast (for obvious reasons). So I ask the sales person to put me through to support, you hold on for almost 30 minutes and then they tell you all you can do is to reposition your router in the house and see which tower gives you stronger signal. I did this and found that none of the spots in my house connects me to the nearest tower. I tried calling a few times again and don't get through. By this time I'm furious because I work from home and need internet access. I had no other option but to cancel, which also didn't work through their app, no-one gets back to you. So I requested a sales call again during the second week of April and managed to speak to a support agent which logged the cancellation request. Up to today, I have not heard from anyone, Rain deducted a full installment on 1 June 2022 and I was told they will only deduct the usage for May and my cancellation will go through from the date I requested it.... Well Rain gives pathetic service to their customers. On a daily basis I read of clients who cancelled and Rain still deducts an installment. This is now happening to me and up to today, as I'm writing this review, none of their agents have made contact with me to confirm cancellation. My account still shows active on the app and I'm 100% sure they will deduct again on 1 July 2022 even though I've plugged out their ridiculous router. I am so angry at this service provider!!!
