Rain 5g and 4g network not working
Guess rain just couldn't be bothered to sort out their signal issues, a week without 5g working, the 4g fallback is so terrible I can barely get 5mbs on a good day, it worked for like 2 days on 5g and a little bit of rain and it killed the network all over again, so bad in fact I have to use my mobile data to write this review, the fact that technicians are on site working on the problem is not a satisfactory answer and although the response time on complaints is good the actual service is extremely unsatisfactory, what's the point of paying for a service that doesn't even work half the time and to have to deal with the frustration of not being able to use it when I need to or want to is pushing me towards alternative isp options

13 Feb 2023, 19:57I have previously complained about no internet access and the issue was not resolved, you either need to boost your signal somehow or put up more towers with enough contingency backups to co tinue to provide signal even during loadshedding and cable thefts in the area if it gets to that extreme

15 Feb 2023, 19:13That is a bull**** reply and I stated that in my previous correspondence, you're telling me that all 4 towers around me are experiencing the same problem at the same time, that response is generic, it says nothing, your network service worked for one day and it's all offline again? I would like a detailed explanation, and I'd like to know how all the sites experience the same problem at the same time, and I'd like to know seeing as though it only works half the time will I be getting a discount on the monthly installment? Which would be fair considering I can't use the service I'm paying for

15 Feb 2023, 20:43I have turned it off multiple times since getting home, I've placed it at a window pointing directly at 6th Ave that's a block away from me, I've removed the Sim and left it off, the 4g signal is pathetic, I can't even get 3mbs download speed, 99% of the time I've got no internet access either and that's on the 4g fallback, IT'S NOT WORKING, IF THE 4G FALLBACK WORKED EFFECTIVELY I WOULDN'T BE COMPLAINING!
