Put you in debt with them

I would not advise anyone to use Rains services, especially when you want a month to month service.

I used Rain when working at home, I went back to the office and did not pay my install for that month. According to my knowledge and terms and conditions if I do not pay the services is cut within a few days of not making payment.

My rain services has been on for 3 months straight with no payment made I have been sent payment reminders thinking why are these people not cutting the service as it was said in the terms and conditions.

Now I am being called for a whole R1700 that I need to pay because the services wasn’t cut and I haven’t paid. When I took the rain I knew I am not obligated because services gets cut when I don’t pay then I won’t be in debt. As of now I am being called for the outstanding amount which I refuse to pay. Why did they not cut the services I even told the lady I spoke to from the collections department I won’t pay if it was 1 month I would have understood how do you leave the service on for 3 months and send me payment reminders I haven’t paid you suppose to cut the service as per the Terms and conditions.

The funny thing is my cousin has the same Wi-Fi she advised me to get rain, her Wi-Fi gets cut few days after she has not made payment why did they not do the same for me ?. The person that was responsible for cutting the service should pay that outstanding money I won’t pay anything because that was not what I read when I agreed to taking the service.

We will go to court and I will stand by my word you don’t do this to people.

Don’t use rain especially when you young person they think they can take advantage of you cause you young and just entering the the world now you don’t know about debt. I read my terms and conditions before signing anything and that’s what I stick by.

I am returning the device payment from me will not be given and if y’all put it a default on my credit report I will take it up with the Ombudsman I won’t be ****** like this.
