Poor Customer Service
I got a new router from Rain, and a few days after that I decided to upgrade the speed as the one I was on it was slow. I tried contacting them a couple of times asking them to downgrade me back to my original plan, but I received no response. I eventually was able to do this myself on their portal and I got a notification saying that this will be action on my next debit order date. My next debit order date has come and they have deducted their money and they still haven’t adjusted it.

26 Apr 2024, 18:41Hi,
This is not what I was told when I was downgrading. That is not true that the amount paid is for April, it is for May, Rain is not post paid contract, you pay in advance for the service, do you not?
Regards,
Siyabonga

26 Apr 2024, 18:55Hi,
And I’m referring to the 101 one, not the old one. The speed downgrade was done on 101 not the old one.

30 Apr 2024, 16:41Hi,
I have been unable to see your responses nor reply. It was showing that you rep**** privately but I couldn’t see any response.
You said you were going to call me the following day, and I waited but you never did.
I am going to forward my emails I sent to Rain to the email address you provided above.
However, this is breakdown of what happened on 101 router, I am not sure what’s difficult to understand here. On 15 Feb, I app**** for the router, and I had to pay R225.69 in advance which was calculated as per number of days left until the 25 Feb which is the date the debit order goes off. On 25 Feb, the full amount was deducted in advance for the period of 25 Feb to 25 March. On 23 March I opted for the speed increase, and again I had to pay R103.23 in advance for the days until 25 March. On 25 March, the full amount for a new speed level was deducted, which is for the period from 25 March to 25 April paid in advance. On 23 April, I opted for the speed downgrade, and I got the notification that this was going to be actioned on the debit order date, the debit order comes and you still deduct the full amount? In an account that’s being paid in advance? After the cancellation has been submitted?
Please refund my money ASAP, that’s not your money.
