Pay-as-you Go vs Pre-Paid vs Fixed Contract

I have spotty service from them on a pay as you go option which they do not offer anymore but no-where do they say they do not provide that only saying they don't do pre-paid, which they have never provided. Thankfully I am on pay-as-you go and not stuck on a fixed contract for services I get every now and again...
