Pathetic, unreliable and a total waste of money. DON'T SIGN UP.

I have been ignoring the company for years because of what I heard from their customers. I recently moved to an area with fibre monopoly where customers are forced to use Vodacom fibre or nothing at all.

I always had a Telkom SIM and the 220GB+220GB was just way too expensive and I always had to top up each month, so I opted for Rain LTE after a friend convinced me. The plan was to opt for the 5G services but I felt that was way too much of a steep approach towards a company with very poor ratings.

I bought the SIM from Clicks, went through the payment process and RICA and the SIM card was activated. The first day I was able to get a 4Mbps download speed – which is very poor but I was willing to settle for because R479 is way less than what I was paying Telkom. The following day, I was down to 0.45Mbps and it has been like that for 10 days now.

Their service is *******. I live less than 200m away from the cellphone tower. If you are lucky enough to have a reliable internet (Fibre, ADSL, LTE or 4G with another provider, stay there).
