PATHETIC, AWFUL DISGUSTING SERVICE

Absolutely disgusted. Ordered a 5G router and simcard. After order my ID was ******. Contacted rain with no luck. Eventually got a hold of rain. Agent told me the couriers will accept an affidavit. Luckily the couriers phoned the day before delivery and I informed them that my ID was ******. They told me that they will assist me with a certified copy of my ID. After spending two hours at the police station trying to get my copy certified, the next day the courier will not hand over my package without written consent from Rain. Phoned rain and I was informed to cancel my order and re-order on someone else's name. I am the only one that can sign for this as my partner is on the road the whole day. I hung up and phoned again. This agent escalated to billing. After 3 hours received an emails stating I need to cancel my order. Now I must wait 10 working days for a refund and be without internet until I eventually can get my ID which home affairs and FNB can not assist with until further notice.

Rain does not want new customers- they are treating you like they do not need your money. Their agents are not at all informed about correct procedures. I will NEVER recommend rain or even try to re-order. STAY AWAY FROM THE MOST PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDER YOU WILL EVER DEAL WITH.
