No internet connection

I have been getting really terrible connection for a few weeks now. I can barely open a web page without getting the no internet message. My download speeds are frequently zero. This makes doing any work impossible. I've contacted customer services several times and the suggestions they give are not helpful at all. I live less than a 1km away from the nearest tower. Assistance would be appreciated.
