No internet connection

It's been 5 days now without internet connection since Thursday last week. I called the customer care and the agent seemed to have no clue of the problem and told me to switch the router off and on and move it around the house. When all that failed failed to resolve the issue, he promised to call me back after checking with network guys, but up until now still i have no internet connection.
