MISREPRENTATION OF WEAR AND TEAR PRODUCT AS AN INSURANCE

i m very disappointed in the way Rain is treating their loyal customers, i've been with rain for more than three years.two months ago i took out a contract for two loop phones for my two boys and the sales consultant advise that i must take out insurance it will benefit me if anything happen to the phones and i agree to that. last week saturday during a rugby game at my boys school, Hoerskool Pretoria Noord ******* broke the door of their dressing room and stole 17 cellphones and one of those belong to my boy. the school open a police case and they supply us with the case number,i went to RAIN shop in Queenswood, just to be told that they don't offer theft insurance only wear and tear insurance, i have to pay R8000 for the lost of the phone then they will issue me with a new one to continue with the contract. Remember the loopphone is the property of Rain and im renting it out, how come they don't insure their own property for theft if i was aware of this i would have never took those phones.if that's their policy they need to reconsider it ,it is not a fair practice. Even to get hold of RAIN is a problem and eventually when they answer the phone you not sure if you speaking to a robot or to a person, the same with the whatsapp messages , i even tried to send them an email up to date nothing not even an acknowledgement
