Misleading and false information - Rain ISP

Absolutely dreadful service. Signal disconnects entirely every 20-30min. It is not switched on/off correctly according to the package chosen. Sometimes it is down completely for hours on end. When there is signal, it is so weak that it is practically useless. The chat operators don't know what they are talking about and cannot even provide a link to the T&Cs or cancellation policy - they claim they do not have a link. I found it for myself (on their own website!) and the cancellation policy states very clearly that there will be NO CHARGE if cancelled within 7 days from signing up - yet they charged me when I cancelled after 6 days. They tried to then get out of it by saying their T&Cs are outdated and different now. T&Cs are legally binding and it is not the client's responsibility to ensure they are kept up to date. Whether they have changed or not, if those are the ones on their own website, they have to adhere to them. I also received a document via email that is not supposed to be shown to clients where they have added all sorts of terms that are not communicated to the client/potential client and not listed anywhere on their site. They are intentionally misleading people and then lying directly to them when there is an issue. They hide all the important information and have zero transparency. I have emailed the support email address over these issues and received no response at all. I am disgusted by the awful experience that Rain has been and want to warn everyone not to trust them. I also want back the money I was charged as it constitutes a breach of their own publicly displayed policies. This is a classic case of "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is". Don't sign up for this service.
