****mers who require payment for a cancelled service

Try and cancel your rain account!!! I got a month to month sim card.. then I cancelled late 2021. Now all of a sudden in 2023 Im getting calls and sms to say my account is R1325 in arrears, amount when i tell them account was cancelled they want a ref number. How do I owe money for a service I don't use(month to month service at that, if you miss a day of no payment they cut you off immediately so whats changed all of a sudden), a service I cancelled??? Rain is definitely the worst service ever!!!
