IS RAIN A CONTACT OR Month to Month?

when i started with rain ,i was told that i need to made an upfront payment and is a month to month contract . Now that i need to cancel they are giving stories that i need to make payment month end but i already paid for this month. on my first month i paid on the 25 and its been going on like that . i am not happy .

i canceled for November so why should i pay . The router is off i no longer need your service and please block the sim. don't debit on my account December as i did not use your services this month.
