Internet Provider that can't provide internet

I was so excited when I got Rain, a purely South African internet service provider. Sadly, my excitement was misplaced. While things started off well, I am still unable to connect to the cellphone tower on the load-shedding grid in my area, which means I either have power or internet, but rarely both. The batteries apparently get ****** from the cellphone towers, which means no internet during load shedding. This is a serious issue as I work remotely. To combat this, I have to work at all hours of the night just to finish.

I have communicated this to rain, and despite emails assuring me the problem has been solved, I still can't get anything done. No one has even picked up the phone to find out if I'm able to get the service they claim to provide.
