Internet down during loadshedding
The only Rain LTE mast I can connect to is " Riverbend 😥😥 in Wilgeheuwel/ Strubensvally. However recently every time we have loadshedding my internet goes down. This was not the case before. I still have a connection to the mast and a green indicator on modem but get no data throughput. So for up to 6 hours a day I don't have Rain internet access. Reporting it is a waste of time. The rain internet call centre operator is in India and with the poor quality VoIP lines and their bad English it is very difficult to communicate with them.

08 Dec 2022, 11:13I understand your excuse about 5G....but I'm on 4G LTE. ( But getting charged 5G rate). I'm on 4G instead of 5G to get a more reliable connection. It should not effect the 4G LTE service if the 5G service goes down unless the whole tower goes down but the tower doesn't go down as I still get a RF signal but there is no data throughput on that signal. It is either your mux equipment or the minlink/ fibre feeding the 4G BMS that goes down. To make matters worse is the support call centre is in India...with no idea of what's going on.
