Impossible to cancel Rain 5G

In terms of rains performance as a network, I have very few complaints. It went down from time to time due to what can be assumed is maintenance My problem is, I was only ever planning on using rain as a temporary service in favour of fibre, there's no way 5G can ever be as reliable as fibre, so it's a no brainer in a work-from-home world.

So head this warning to whoever may want to use rain as I have as a temporary service, THEY DO NOT LET YOU CANCEL. It's not like Afrihost or similar where you click cancel and be done with it. Sure there's a cancel button, but it's clearly marked as "Request Cancellation". You can push that button till you're blue in the face. They seem to be incapable of responding to an email, and even when phoning them, they do not allow you to cancel, they insist that they WILL call you.

I think all that's left to do is block their debit orders in hopes that someone at this company will bother contacting me.

For this reason, assuming I am ever "allowed" to cancel this product, I will NEVER support rain again, and NEVER recommend your service to friends and colleagues again. My condolences to all who I have led astray in recommending this company to in the past.

Rain was supposed to be the "saviours" against the duopoly that is MTN and Vodacom. What a disappointment you are.
